Biography Professor of Bioinformatics,
Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, Cold Spring Harbor, New York Research: Lincoln is well known in both the bioinformatics community and the perl community where he was the author of the popular and widely distributed CGI.pm perl module for manipulating text. He is the principal architect of the Gbrowse system. Lincoln's lab is known for developing significant software for biological databases, data analysis and visualization, and sharing results. He writes for Web Techniques and The Perl Journal, and he has written several books on related subjects. |
